An international typographic project organized by the Provincial Public Library in Olsztyn, FlyingFISH Letterpress Bielsko-Biala and the Frombork History Monument Museum, Cathedral Complex.
As part of the project, we invite you to an exhibition dedicated to the memory of Stanislaw Lem and his work.
The project aims to draw attention to the values associated with traditional letterpress printing, to present the history of disappearing craftsmanship, such as typesetting and hand printing techniques, and to promote the letterpress technique. The project presentations are organized in the Gallery of Old City Hall Public Library in Olsztyn and the Wozownia Sztuki in Frombork.

STANISLAW LEM
Polish philosopher, writer, futurologist, essayist and satirist. He is the most translated Polish writer and at one time was the most widely read non-English speaking SF writer. His books have been translated into 41 languages and have a total circulation of over 30 million copies. (Lubimyczytac.pl)
LemPress – the project’s slogan refers to the work of Stanisław Lem, a writer whose work is known all over the world.
